April whim .... Shu Ikeda

April - a long-awaited and gentle child,
Capricious and fragile darling spring.
He just got out of the cradle of winter -
They became to him a little cramped.

And trying to force their reckless
(and its complex nature us the sign)
He then enlighten us with a smile Wonderful
Then throw a snowball in the face of full-weight.
But we certainly forgive him everything,
After all, it's only April whim!
And every spring, we expect:
He - the most coveted spring surprise!

You know, the grass - it is also the sky ...
Every blade of grass - God ...
This verse. And under the starry wilderness -
The rustle of green lines
Forever ... How epic - that will ...
Intently dew -
Look Deity. But often people do not
Look in her eyes -
Wither in the house, but in the screens go blind
In the rush, the crowd in the dust ...
You know, the grass - is also SKY
Touching the ground ...

The central themes in the work of Shu Ikeda are the nature and the light. Cutting patterns on photographs of natural landscapes. Each painting is meticulously carved by a paper cutter on the image and mounted on a clear acrylic that allows light to pass through the cutout patterns. So the artist expresses the fragility of nature's beauty, its changes over time. Neutral landscape becomes exceptional, which does not exist in the real world, this new world of art that can not only be found in a painting or photograph. Each piece of work is a unique creation of delicate handwork. Shu Ikeda was born in Herosime, Japan, in 1979. He graduated from the University Zokei in Tokyo, Faculty of Painting. He now lives and works in Tokyo, Japan.
